The through-line is automation applied to work that is normally done by hand, at a cost that makes it repeatable rather than bespoke.
The video line exists because multi-camera interviews were being cut by hand, one at a time, and the bottleneck was the editor rather than the recording. Turning that into a pipeline took the editing itself out of the loop for the repetitive passes, and left the judgement calls to a person.
The token market exists for the same reason. AI capacity is bought by the million and there is no market to sell it into, so committed spend quietly becomes a liability. Putting a counterparty in the middle turns it back into an asset.
County Texas Watch is the smallest of the three and the most literal: a number, taken from a public source, that somebody keeps honest.
Questions people actually ask
Are the .com and the .org the same site?
Yes, and there is only one copy of the page. You can reach it at leroynellis.com, www.leroynellis.com or www.leroynellis.org — all three serve this same page from one file, so there is no second version to fall out of date. The bare leroynellis.org is the exception and is deliberately different: it is the operator portal and it asks for a password.
Which of these can I use right now?
vdedit.com, leroynellis.blog and countytexaswatch.org are live and usable today. aipricedesk.com is open to read, but the desk is not trading yet — the board there shows each provider's published list rate, stamped with its date, and not a quote from us. The book and the podcast are being written and are not taking orders. The status is printed on every card above so you do not have to guess.
Where does the video work live now?
On vdedit.com. The old upload address still exists but it is the back door, not the front one.
How is the Texas death count kept up to date?
County Texas Watch reads from the Texas Attorney General's published figures. The number on that page comes from a machine that refreshes it, and the page shows the date of the last successful sync so you can tell whether it is fresh.
